I finally squared up with my Say Anything series. Never Say Goodbye is complete and now onto the hard part, attracting readers. But in the meantime, there’s a lot I’d like to share about the process of bringing this from idea to a completed story. In particular, how a novel became a stage play and how combined, they formed the foundation to three novellas. I don’t know where to begin. Maybe I should wait a while longer and get my thoughts together. What I can say is that by the end of this process, I hope to have brought the story full circle in print form. But for now, at least, the writing and revising are done. I’m releasing it into the ether. Another mission accomplished? I should feel happy, relieved, validated (all of the above). In reality, I’m looking forward to what’s next and wondering if I’ll last long enough to find out.
